Hi friends! Pastor Rusty wishing everyone a happy Thursday, March 26.
Today I wanted to remind you that the personal God who boldly revealed Himself in the person of Jesus the Messiah is alive and well today and to take comfort in knowing that He is reigning supremely as King right now over our world, AND that He so deeply loves you, personally, just as you are right now, covered securely by Jesus!
He wants you to know that you are very, very special to Him and that he cares a great deal about even the smallest of details in your life. He wants you to know that he is with you right now even as you read this note, and will be with you later today as you clean or read or watch something, and even tonight when you lay your head down on your pillow He will be right there, delighting in you.
Just a reminder that we are still temporarily CANCELLING our gathered worship services for now. We will keep you posted when we are able to return to normal operations. Hopefully soon! (...praying so.)
I'm excited to share a message this Sunday morning with you on this website, under the "Sermons" page. We are going to hear from the Old Testament evangelist, Job, who argues why his God is One we should all embrace, trust, and surrender our lives to, even though He allows pandemics like this one. In preparation for it, you might take a look at Job, chapters 1, 2, and 42.
Please call us if you have any needs.
Today's Psalm was Psalm 27:
1 "Yahweh is my light and my salvation;
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life;
of whom shall I be afraid?
...5 "For he will hide me in his shelter
in the day of trouble;
he will conceal me under the cover of his tent;
he will set me high on a rock.
...13 "I believe that I shall see the goodness of Yahweh
in the land of the living.
14 "Wait for Yahweh;
be strong, and let your heart take courage;
wait for Yahweh!"
