​Lyle Rupert is the organist and choir accompanist at GPC.  He has served in churches as choir director, handbell director, organist, and/or accompanist for over forty years.  This avocation stems from his Christian faith and love of music, both of which were instilled and developed by his parents.  Outside of his musical endeavors, Lyle teaches accounting, statistics, and finance at Hendrix College where he holds the C. Louis and Charlotte Cabe Distinguished Professorship in Economics and Business.  He is a CPA and has a Ph.D. in Leadership Studies.  Lyle and his wife, Sheila, have 3 children and 4 grandchildren.
