Worship is reformed and liturgical in style and our sole purpose is to worship and praise the Lord God Almighty; for that is man's chief end. We use hymn books for singing accompanied by a piano and organ. We regularly post and email updates, as well as provide worship materials on our Online Worship page.

What We Believe
The Bible:
We believe that God wrote the Bible. We see it as our absolute authority and believe that it has no errors. In fact, in referring to the Old Testament Jesus used even its grammatical details as authoritative. Therefore, we let it guide us in all that we think and do. We see it as our absolute authority, and its beauty is that it's ancient truths perfectly apply to all of today's new situations and challenges. 
The Trinity:
We believe that God has revealed himself in Three persons, and yet One being, all of whom are instrumental in our Redemption. The Father planned our Salvation and adopts us as His children. The Son accomplished our atonement as our Redeemer and now reigns in us as our King. And the Holy Spirit brings it all to us, by coming to live in us, unite us to Jesus, awaken and convince us of Biblical truths, and enable us to trust and love Him. God is not more one than He is three; and He's not more three than He is one. And being made in the image of the divine community of Three explains a lot about our need for each other. |
The Church:
This nourishing mother of ours is certainly not perfect, but in the rich soil of her community and sacraments she nurtures, nourishes, and weaves us together into a joyful family of diversity and support, equipping us for our mission of renewing this world. 
The Renewal of all things by God's Covenant of Grace:
We believe that the human race essentially changed from our original state of perfect holiness like God when mankind's first representative, Adam, failed God's first covenant with us (which is the ancient name for a 'treaty'). As a consequence, we now deeply are broken in a selfish orientation of soul and alienation from God which spoils absolutely everything. However, from Genesis 3:15 onward, God decided to rescue us by making one over-arching Covenant of Grace with mankind in which God would become our mediator so that He could succeed where our first representative failed. God came not to bring judgement but to bear it, and to perform a perfect record of human obedience which now counts for anyone and everyone who surrenders his or her life to accept this free gift. Our bad record was placed on Him and his good record counts for us! When the Holy Spirit helps us to understand and embrace this news as our fundamental hope, then it deeply heals and transforms us, and it wells up a joy that motivates us to serve Jesus in his current mission of bringing his Kingdom to this world, right now through us his servants, until the day when the true King returns to finish the job. |
